The projector itself is decent, but the wireless casting can be really hit or miss. Some nights it connects right away, and other times I’m sitting there restarting my phone or the projector just to get it to work. I’ll be honest, when that first happened I was a little worried I’d been fooled into buying something that wouldn’t actually do what it promised. Once it finally connects, it usually stays on fine, so it’s not a total dealbreaker. Just annoying when you’re trying to put something on quickly and don’t want to mess around with it

I bought the Lumos projector thinking it would be something I could easily carry around, but it hasn’t felt portable at all. It’s just more awkward than I expected, and I keep wondering who exactly is supposed to own the whole setup experience because it feels like nobody really thought it through.
The projector itself is bulkier than I pictured, and once you add the cables and other bits, packing it up becomes annoying fast. I wanted something I could toss in a bag without overthinking it, but instead I’m dealing with a mess of stuff and no clear sense of what’s meant to go where or who’s responsible for making it feel simple.
If you’re planning to leave it in one room, it might be fine, but for traveling or moving it between places, I wouldn’t recommend it. I expected convenience, and this just feels like a product where the ownership of portability was never really clear. Disappointing.

The ad made this look so much better than what actually showed up. It was nowhere near what I expected, and at that point I was just like, give me a break. Definitely not as advertised.

The payment did go through eventually, but the page was slow to load and I wasn’t sure if anything had actually happened at first. I got the confirmation a few minutes later, so it was fine in the end, but I wish the instructions or status updates were clearer during checkout.

Just a warning for anyone thinking about buying this — the projection size doesn’t adjust nearly enough. I couldn’t get it to fit properly in my room, which was really frustrating. Definitely check your space and sizing needs before getting it...

I waited longer than I expected for this to arrive, so it was frustrating to finally get it and see the box a bit crushed. Thankfully the projector inside was fine, but the packaging could definitely use more padding. It wasn’t terrible, I just expected a little better after waiting around for it...

I ordered from lumosprojector.com and the shipping was faster than I expected. Maybe my expectations were too low, I’m not sure, but it got here quickly. The tracking updates weren’t perfect, though they were good enough for me to have a general idea of where the package was. The box showed up in good shape too. I’m giving 4 stars because it did arrive a day later than the first estimate, but maybe I’m being a little picky about that...

The focus and keystone ended up working fine, but I did have to mess with them for a bit. I think I got it mostly adjusted the first night, or maybe the next day after moving it around again, but either way it took some fiddling before the picture looked right.

The projector itself might be fine, but I think I just picked the worst time to buy it because the remote has been driving me nuts from day one. The buttons only work when they feel like it, and I basically have to aim it perfectly straight at the projector for anything to happen.
The menus crawl along, and trying to type anything is painful. I even swapped the batteries twice thinking maybe I caught it at a bad moment, but nope, same problem. Since the remote is something I use every time, it makes the whole setup more frustrating than it should be. I wouldn’t buy it again.

The projector does work, but the fan noise really got on my nerves. I tried watching something and couldn’t stop hearing it the whole time, especially when that part got quiet. It’s fine otherwise, but that thing is just way too loud for me.

I bought this for my living room thinking it would be fine for regular daytime use, but it’s been really disappointing. During the day the picture is so washed out that I can barely see anything, even with the curtains halfway closed. At night it’s okay, I guess, but that doesn’t really help much if I want to use it any other time. What made it more frustrating is that I kept seeing different answers about whether it works well in brighter rooms, and they were all over the place. Based on my experience, it definitely does not. Not what I was expecting at all.

My projector started having issues. I tried to get help through the warranty, but it was a hassle. Replies took forever. They kept asking me the same questions. The repair process was not clear at all. It felt like they wanted me to give up. I would not buy from Lumos Projector again.

A friend recommended this to me, so I gave it a shot for movie nights. It’s definitely watchable, but the contrast is just okay. Dark scenes don’t look very deep, and the blacks come across more like gray. Not a dealbreaker for casual watching, but I did expect a little better.

The HDMI/Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth issues really wore me down. It kept dropping connection or not pairing properly, and after a while I just got tired of troubleshooting and reaching out for help. For the price, I expected it to be way smoother. The whole thing felt limited and annoying, and I wouldn’t buy it again unless they fix this.
